Dear distinguished guests, colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the congress organizing committee, it is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to the 2008 International Symposium on Burns & Rebabilitation/12th Conference on Burns of Hubei Burns Society, which will be held from October 29 to 31 in Wuhan City.

Hubei Province located in the economic and population center in China, with about 60 million residents. Because of the big population, and perhaps also because of the living level and style, the number of burn patients of Hubei Province is quite large, making a hard challenge to the medical workers. There are burn units in nearly all the cities and counties in the province. Every two or three years the Hubei Burns Society will hold a conference on burns and related fields. This year the conference will be conjoined with an international symposium emphasizing rehabilitation and society re-entering. The invited speakers will be distinguished scholars from domestic and oversea countries and regions, including Australia, Holland, Canada, USA, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Wuhan, the capital of Hubei, located in the middle of Yangzi River, is one of the most fascinating cities in China. After the symposium, you will have chance to explore many historical places in the city and of cause , you will be more than welcomed to visit the Burns Institute of Wuhan City Hospital No.3, one of the top burn centers in China.
